dhyātvā devaṃ jagadyoniṃ nārāyaṇamakalmaṣam /
ātmānaṃ paramaṃ dhāma saritsā jagatīpate //
having meditated upon the taintless Nārāyaṇa, the god who is the source of the world, / the Self, the supreme abode, that river [did so], O lord of the earth.
