mārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacchettu rājendra gautameśvaramuttamam /
sarvapāpaharaṃ tīrthaṃ triṣu lokeṣu viśrutam //

Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then one should proceed, O king of kings, to the excellent Gautameśvara, / a pilgrimage place that removes all sins and is renowned in the three worlds.
