bahavastanna jānanti viṣṇumāyāvimohitāḥ /
tatra saṃnihitaṃ devaṃ śūlapāṇiṃ maheśvaram //

Many do not know that, deluded by Viṣṇu's māyā, / [namely] that the god Maheśvara, holding a trident in his hand, is present there.
