tato mukhāt tasya ghanā maholbaṇā niścerurindrāyudhatulyarūpāḥ /
ghorāḥ payodā jagadandhakāraṃ kurvanta īśānavaraprayuktāḥ //

then from his mouth went forth clouds, immensely terrible, resembling the rainbow, / dread water-bearers casting the universe into darkness, impelled by the supreme command of Īśāna.
