śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacchenmahīpāla daśāśvamedhikaṃ param /
tīrthaṃ sarvaguṇopetaṃ mahāpātakanāśanam //

Glorious Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then one should go, O king, to the supreme Daśāśvamedhika, / a pilgrimage place endowed with all virtues, destroying grave sins.
