dvija uvāca:
na vicārastvayā kāryaḥ kṛtā yajñā na saṃśayaḥ /
yadi vedāḥ pramāṇaṃ taṃ bhuvi devā dvijāstathā //
The twice-born said: / You should have no doubt; sacrifices have been performed, no doubt, / if the Vedas, and likewise the gods and the twice-born on earth, are an authority for you.
