yadi pakṣaṃ puraskṛtya lokāḥ kurvanti pārvati /
tasmānna siddhir eteṣāṃ bhavatyeko na vismayaḥ //
If people act out of partiality, O Pārvatī, / therefore no success is achieved by them; it is not a single wonder.
