śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
rājannāśvayuje māsi daśamyāṃ tadviśiṣyate /
pārthiveṣu ca tīrthe tu sarveṣveva na saṃśayaḥ //
Śrī Mārkaṇḍeya said: / O king, in the month of Āśvayuja, on the tenth day, it is especially distinguished / among all earthly pilgrimage places, without any doubt.
