sarveṣāmeva yajñānām aśvamedho viśiṣyate /
durlabhaḥ svalpavittānāṃ bhūriśaḥ pāpakarmaṇām //
Among all sacrifices indeed, the horse sacrifice is distinguished; / it is difficult to attain for those of small wealth, and especially for those of sinful deeds.
