daśāśvamedhe yatpuṇyaṃ saṃkṣepeṇa yudhiṣṭhira /
kathitaṃ parayā bhaktyā sarvapāpapraṇāśanam //
The religious merit that is at Daśāśvamedha, which destroys all sin, / has been declared in brief to you with supreme devotion, O Yudhiṣṭhira.

|| iti śrīskānde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ pañcama āvantyakhaṇḍe revākhaṇḍe daśāśvamedhatīrthamāhātmyavarṇanaṃ nāmāśītyuttaraśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ ||
|| Thus ends the one hundred and eightieth chapter, titled "Description of the Glorification of the Daśāśvamedha Pilgrimage Place", in the Revākhaṇḍa of the fifth book, the Āvantyakhaṇḍa, of the glorious Skandapurāṇa containing eighty-one thousand verses.
