karuṇābhyudayaṃ nāma stotram idaṃ sarvasiddhidaṃ divyam /
yaḥ paṭhati bhṛguṃ smarati ca śivalokam asau prayāti dehānte //
This divine hymn of praise, named “The Dawning of Compassion,” bestows all spiritual attainments. / Whoever recites it and remembers Bhṛgu goes to the world of Śiva at the end of the body.
