devakhāte naraḥ snātvā piṇḍadānādisatkriyām /
yāṃ karoti nṛpaśreṣṭha tām akṣayaphalāṃ viduḥ //
When a man bathes in the Devakhāta and performs good rites such as the offering of rice-balls, / O best of kings, they know that it has inexhaustible fruit.
