īśvara uvāca:
kedārākhyamidaṃ brahmaṃl liṅgamādyaṃ bhaviṣyati /
kṛtvedamādiliṅgāni bhaviṣyanti daśaiva hi //

Īśvara said: / 'This will be the first liṅga, named Kedāra, O brahmin. / Starting with this, there will be ten primary liṅgas indeed.
