184.24

japannavamyāṃ viprendro mucyate pāpasañcayāt /
evaṃ tu kathitaṃ tāta purāṇoktaṃ maharṣibhiḥ //

chanting it on the ninth, the eminent brāhmaṇa is freed from an accumulation of sins. / Thus has it been spoken, dear child, as related in the purāṇa by the great sages.
