yudhiṣṭhira uvāca:
āścaryabhūtaṃ loke 'sminkathayasva dvijottama /
praviśenna brahmahatyā yathā vai dhautapāpmani //

Yudhiṣṭhira said: / Tell me, O best of brahmins, of this wondrous thing in this world, / how brahmahatyā indeed does not enter Dhautapāpa.
