putrarddhirūpasampanno jīvecca śaradāṃ śatam /
śivalokaṃ mṛto yāti nātra kāryā vicāraṇā //
Endowed with sons, prosperity, and beauty, he shall live for a hundred autumns; / upon dying, he goes to the world of Śiva—no doubt should be entertained here.

|| iti śrīskānde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ pañcama āvantyakhaṇḍe revākhaṇḍe eraṇḍītīrthamāhātmyavarṇanaṃ nāma pañcāśītyuttaraśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ ||
|| Thus ends the one hundred and eighty-fifth chapter, entitled the description of the glorification of the Eraṇḍītīrtha, in the Revākhaṇḍa of the fifth Avantyakhaṇḍa in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa consisting of eighty-one thousand verses.
