śālagrāmaṃ paśyate yo hi nityaṃ snātvā jale nārmade 'ghaughahāre /
sa mucyate brahmahatyādipāpairnārāyaṇānusmaraṇena tena //
Whoever constantly looks upon Śālagrāma after bathing in the water of the Narmadā, which destroys floods of sin,
is freed from sins like killing a brāhmaṇa through that remembrance of Nārāyaṇa.
