tvaritaṃ tu jayaṃ gatvā pūrvakaṃ vidhimācaret /
aśvaṃ dadyād dvijāgryāya jayapūrvābhinirgatam //
Having gone quickly to Jaya, one should perform the previous ritual;
one should give a horse that has set forth before the victory to an eminent twice-born.
