19.46

sa tāṃ samuttārya mahājalaughāt samudramāryo vyabhajatsamastam /
mahārṇaveṣveva mahārṇavāmbho nikṣepayāmāsa punarnadīṣu //

Having rescued her from the great flood of water, the noble one divided the entire ocean;
he directed the waters of the great oceans back into the great oceans and again into the rivers.
