nārīṇāṃ tu sadā kāmo hyadhikaḥ parivartate /
viśeṣeṇa ṛtoḥ kāle bhidyate kāmasāyakaiḥ //
The passion of women, however, always increases exceedingly; / especially at the time of the fertile period, she is pierced by the arrows of love.
