te dhanyāste mahātmānas teṣāṃ janma sujīvitam /
candrahāsye tu ye snātvā paśyanti grahaṇaṃ narāḥ //
They are fortunate, they are noble souls, their birth is well-lived— / those men who, having bathed at Candrahāsya, behold an eclipse.
