saṃkrāntau ca vyatīpāte viṣuve cāyane tathā /
candrahāsye naraḥ snātvā sarvapāpaiḥ pramucyate //
At a solar transit, at a Vyatīpāta, at an equinox, and likewise at a solstice, / a man who has bathed at Candrahāsya is completely freed from all sins.
