tatkālocitadharmeṇa ye na sevanti tāṃ narāḥ /
teṣāṃ brahmaghnajaṃ pāpaṃ jāyate nātra saṃśayaḥ //
Those men who do not attend to them according to the duty appropriate for that time— / to them belongs the sin born of killing a brahmin; of this there is no doubt.
