mārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tasyaivānantaraṃ tāta devatīrthamanuttamam /
dṛṣṭvā tu śrīpatiṃ pāpair mucyate mānavo bhuvi //
Mārkaṇḍeya said:
Immediately next to that, dear one, is the unexcelled Devatīrtha. / Having seen Śrīpati, a mortal on earth is liberated from sins.
