yudhiṣṭhira uvāca:
ko 'yaṃ śriyaḥ patirdevo devānāmadhipo vibhuḥ /
kathaṃ janmābhavat tasya deveṣu triṣu vā mune //

Yudhiṣṭhira said:
Who is this god, the lord of Śrī, sovereign ruler of the gods, the all-pervading lord? / How did his birth come about, or among the three gods, O sage?
