yaccārabdhaṃ tapastābhyāmātmānaṃ gandhamādanam /
dadarśāte 'khilaṃ rūpaṃ brahmaṇaḥ puruṣarṣabha //
and the austerity that had been undertaken by the two, their own selves, and Gandhamādana— / they beheld all this as the form of brahman, O best of men.
