bhavajaladhigatānāṃ dvandvavātāhatānāṃ sutaduhitṛkalatratrāṇabhārārditānām /
viṣamaviṣayatoye majjatāmaplavānāṃ bhavati śaraṇameko viṣṇupoto narāṇām //
For mortals plunged in the ocean of worldly existence, struck by the winds of the pairs of opposites, oppressed by the burden of protecting sons, daughters, and wives, / sinking without a raft in the perilous waters of sense objects, the boat of Viṣṇu is the sole refuge.
