vilakṣā vrīḍitā devā gatvā nārāyaṇaṃ tadā /
abruvan vaiśvarūpaṃ no śaktā darśayituṃ vayam //
Embarrassed and ashamed, the gods then went to Nārāyaṇa / and said: “We are not able to show the universal form.”
