īśvara uvāca:
pādodakam idaṃ viṣṇorahaṃ jānāmi vai surāḥ /
daśāśvamedhāvabhṛthaiḥ snānamatrātiricyate //

Īśvara said:
"This is water from Viṣṇu's feet; I indeed know it, O gods. / A sacred bath here surpasses [the merit of] ten horse sacrifices' concluding ablutions.
