mārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
evamuktvā tu te sarve snānaṃ kṛtvā yathāgatam /
jagmurdevā maheśānapurogā bharatarṣabha //
Mārkaṇḍeya said:
Having spoken thus, having bathed, all those gods / went as they had come, with Maheśāna at their head, O best of Bharatas.
