śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacched dharādhīśa haṃsatīrthamanuttamam /
yatra haṃsastapastaptvā brahmavāhanatāṃ gataḥ //
Śrī Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then, O lord of the earth, one should go to the unsurpassed Haṃsatīrtha, / where a goose (haṃsa), having performed austerities, became the mount of Brahmā.
