tasmiṃstīrthe tu yaḥ kaścid abhiyukto nareśvara /
ambhiśāpi tathā snātastridinaṃ mucyate naraḥ //
Whoever, accused [of a crime], O lord of men, / or even cursed, bathes for three days in that pilgrimage place, that man is freed [from guilt].
