taṃ rājā sahitaiś corair anvaśād vadhyatām iti /
sambadhya taṃ ca tair rājañchūle proto mahātapāḥ //
The king commanded regarding him along with the thieves: 'Let him be put to death.' / Binding him together with them, O king, that great ascetic was impaled on a stake.
