198.17

śūlasthaḥ sa tu dharmātmā kālena mahatā tadā /
dhyāyandevaṃ trilokeśaṃ śaṅkaraṃ tamumāpatim //

He, the righteous soul, remaining on the stake for a long time then, / meditating on the god, the lord of the three worlds, Śaṅkara, the husband of Umā;
