māṇḍavya uvāca:
tvamasya jagato mātā jagatsaubhāgyadevatā /
na tvayā rahitaṃ kiṃcid brahmāṇḍe 'sti varānane //

Māṇḍavya said:
'You are the mother of this world, the goddess of the world's good fortune; / there is nothing in the universe devoid of you, O fair-faced one!
