śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tasyaivānantaraṃ rājannāśvinaṃ tīrthamuttamam /
kāmikaṃ sarvatīrthānāṃ prāṇināṃ siddhidāyakam //
The venerable Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Immediately following that, O king, is the excellent Āśvina Tīrtha, / granting the wishes of all pilgrimage places and bestowing perfection upon living beings.
