aśvamedha sahasreṇa vājapeyaśatena ca /
tatphalaṃ samavāpnoti rājannāstyatra saṃśayaḥ //
He attains that fruit [which is gained] by a thousand horse sacrifices / and a hundred vājapeya sacrifices, O king; there is no doubt in this.
