śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
akāryametadviprāṇāṃ yastvimaṃ pibate stanam /
punaścaivopanayanaṃ vratasiddhiṃ na gacchati //
Śrī Mārkaṇḍeya said:
"This is an improper act for Brahmins; whoever drinks this breast / [requires] another upanayana and does not attain the perfection of his vows.
