viśeṣādbhādrapade tu kṛṣṇapakṣe trayodaśīm /
pradhānaṃ sarvatīrthānāṃ devairadhyāsitaṃ purā //
Especially on the thirteenth day in the dark fortnight of Bhādrapada,
[it is] the foremost of all pilgrimage places, inhabited by the gods in ancient times.
