sarveṣu pitṛtīrtheṣu śrāddhaṃ kṛtvāsti yatphalam /
tatphalaṃ samavāpnoti darśe tatra na saṃśayaḥ //
Whatever fruit there is from performing ancestral rites in all ancestral pilgrimage places,
that fruit one obtains on the new moon day there, without doubt.
