evaṃ guṇagaṇākīrṇo brāhmaṇo narmadātaṭe /
vasate brāhmaṇaiḥ sārdhaṃ śiloñchavṛttijīvanaḥ //
A brāhmaṇa endowed with such a multitude of virtues / lived on the bank of the Narmadā together with other brāhmaṇas, subsisting by the gleaning of ears of grain.
