ṣaḍvidhair bhojanair bhakṣyair vāsobhis tān samarcayet /
dakṣiṇābhirvicitrābhiḥ pūjayitvā kṣamāpayet //
He should honor them with six kinds of food, edible treats, and garments; / having worshipped them with varied priestly gifts, he should ask for their forgiveness.
