śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
gate cādarśanaṃ tatra sa rājā vismayānvitaḥ /
tīrthamāhātmyamatulaṃ varṇayansvapuraṃ gataḥ //
Śrī Mārkaṇḍeya said:
When he had vanished from sight there, the king, filled with wonder,
went to his own city, praising the incomparable glorification of the pilgrimage place.
