tatheti coktvā viprendraḥ pāṭhayaṃstaṃ dine dine /
vartate saha śiṣyaiḥ sa śiloñchānupahārayan //

Saying, 'So be it', the best of brāhmaṇas taught him day after day; / he lived with his disciples, gathering gleaned grains.
