athavānnaṃ na siddhaṃ syād bhavadbhirdṛḍhabandhanaiḥ /
gurostu paśyato baddhvā kṣeptavyo 'haṃ narmadāhrade //
Or if the food is not ready, then, while the guru watches, / I must be tied with firm bonds by you and cast into the pool of the Narmadā."
