tataḥ provāca vacanaṃ hṛṣṭapuṣṭo dvijottamaḥ /
varado 'smi varaṃ vatsa vṛṇu yattava rocate //
then the best of the twice-born, pleased and nourished, spoke these words: / "I am a giver of boons, my child; choose whatever boon pleases you!
