Revākhaṇḍa (Vāyupurāṇa) 209.42

śāpānugrahako devo 'kṣipattoye yathā gṛhe /
tato viṣādamagamaddṛṣṭvā tān narmadājale //
the god, who can bestow both curses and grace, hurled them into the water as if [tossing something] in a house. / Then [the guru] fell into dejection upon seeing them in the water of the Narmadā.
