brahmaghne ca surāpe ca steye gurvaṅganāgame /
niṣkṛtirvihitā śāstre kṛtaghne nāsti niṣkṛtiḥ //

For the slayer of a brahmin, the drinker of liquor, the thief, and the violator of the guru's bed, / an expiation is prescribed in the treatise; for the ungrateful, there is no expiation.
