pṛthivyāṃ hy āsamudrāyāṃ tādṛśo naiva jāyate /
yādṛśo 'yaṃ naraśreṣṭha parvato 'marakaṇṭakaḥ //
On earth as far as the ocean, there is no other mountain / like this mountain Amarakaṇṭaka, best of men.
