taṃ tadā cārjunaṃ dṛṣṭvā jamadagniḥ pratāpavān /
carantaṃ mṛgayāṃ gatvā hyātithyena nyamantrayat //
Seeing that Arjuna then, the powerful Jamadagni,
having gone to him as he was wandering about on the hunt, invited him with hospitality.
